Current target is mid-2027. Groundbreaking is scheduled for Q1 2026 with site approvals expected in early 2026. Dates can and do shift with permitting and construction realities — we'll update as news arrives.
Q2Where exactly will it be?
On the west side of Capital Circle NW, immediately north of Interstate 10, in the southeast corner of the Park Place PUD in Leon County. The site is being carved out of a ~74-acre parent parcel via a Leon County ASAP lot split.
Q3How big will it be?
The travel center building is planned at approximately 74,000 square feet with 120 fueling positions, 8 DEF positions, 807 standard parking spaces, 24 EV parking positions, and 11 bus/RV spaces. The site includes two stormwater management facilities and a new lift station.
Q4How will I get in and out?
Access will be via Capital Circle NW into a shared internal road with a central roundabout, then into the travel center from the north side or the west/rear. There is no direct access to the store from Capital Circle NW itself.
